Shopping bags
Our artists' paintings are stitched onto shopping bags and sold at various markets.
Our Leisure Library provides continuous stimulation to over 18’s and focuses on socialisation, emotional development and interaction with peers. With our Leisure Library activities we create a platform where people with Down syndrome can spend time with their peers, interact socially, learn and experience new activities. This project include a monthly dance, art class, drumming group, outings to music shows, movie mornings and a camp for young adults. As young adults with intellectual disability we would like to invite you to join us for these activities. You need to be a member, so contact our office and we will gladly assist you.
ART CLASS: Art classes are held every third Saturday. The young adults paint on cloth, these paintings are then stitched onto shopping bags and sold at various markets. All proceeds go towards buying more art material. If you would like to join us, contact our office for more information.
