We arrange a dance once a month and about 40 young adults with intellectual disabilities attend.
Our Leisure Library provides continuous stimulation to over 18’s and focuses on socialisation, emotional development and interaction with peers. With our Leisure Library activities we create a platform where people with Down syndrome can spend time with their peers, interact socially, learn and experience new activities. This project include a monthly dance, art class, drumming group, outings to music shows, movie mornings and a camp for young adults. As young adults with intellectual disability we would like to invite you to join us for these activities. You need to be a member, so contact our office and we will gladly assist you.
MONTHLY DANCE: Interactions with other adults are very important for developing social skills. We arrange a dance once a month and about 40 young adults with intellectual disabilities attend. This is also a good opportunity for the parents to get together and share struggles and joys. If you would like to join us, contact our office for more information about the next dance.
